The final pitch session<\/em> of the Re-Imagine Green Art Practices on the Margin<\/em><\/strong> project was held in Belgrade as part of the fourth and final residency, dedicated to sustainable distribution and promotion in the performing arts. During the session, 12 selected project tandems presented the finalized versions of their artistic projects along with green production plans developed through a several-month-long educational and research-based international residency program.<\/p>\n

Projects were presented in a structured format encompassing the artistic concept, green production strategies, distribution and touring models, as well as communication and audience development approaches. Each presentation was followed by an in-depth discussion with an international expert jury.<\/p>\n

The decision on the awarded project was made by a three-member international jury composed of professionals from the fields of performing arts, cultural policies, and environmental action: Sun\u010dica Milosavljevi\u0107, theatre director and cultural manager; Tijana Grumi\u0107, playwright and Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts; and Antoine Avignon, environmental and climate policy expert at the EU Delegation to Serbia.<\/p>\n

Projects were evaluated according to clearly defined criteria, including artistic quality and conceptual clarity, innovation in production and distribution models, consistent application of sustainability principles, engagement with periphery, inclusion and diversity, as well as the potential for long-term social and environmental impact.<\/p>\n

Based on the jury\u2019s unanimous decision, the project Superhero Tutorial<\/em><\/strong>, produced by S\u00cdN Arts Centre<\/a> (Hungary), was awarded co-production support from the Re-Imagine consortium.<\/p>\n

The jury particularly emphasized that Superhero Tutorial<\/a> connects contemporary ecological themes with participatory performing arts formats for young audiences in a clear, witty, and accessible manner. The project stands out for its strong conceptual framework, interdisciplinary approach, and thoughtful integration of green principles across all phases of production and distribution.<\/p>\n

According to the jury, Superhero Tutorial has the potential to become a reference example of sustainable practice in the performing arts, as well as an inspiring model for artists and organizations operating in challenging local and institutional contexts.<\/p>\n
