The co-founders of the Green Art Incubator platform, Dr Jovana Karaulić and Dr Ksenija Marković Božović, participated as guest speakers in the Stage Talk programme of the Sarajevo Theatre Showcase, held on 14 September 2025 in Sarajevo.
The Sarajevo Theatre Showcase aims to establish itself as one of the leading regional professional events in the field of contemporary performing arts in Southeast Europe. It brings together artists, producers, curators, and cultural professionals with the goal of exchanging knowledge and ideas and fostering international collaboration. The event is organized by a consortium of relevant cultural institutions and organizations from the region and across Europe.
During their participation, Dr Karaulić and Dr Marković Božović presented the work of the Green Art Incubator platform, its regional networking approach, and the key results of the project Re-Imagine: Green Art Practices on the Margin, with a particular focus on the role of ecological and justice-oriented practices in the transformation of the performing arts. The discussions opened important questions around sustainability, responsibility, and new models of cooperation within the contemporary cultural field.
As part of the meeting, continued collaboration with the Sarajevo Theatre Showcase was agreed for its next edition, further strengthening regional exchange and long-term partnerships in the field of contemporary and sustainable artistic practices.
